A life and an underworld summarized in one night. Ulises, a boy of 25 years old, is left by his couple, Pablo, and thrown to the street. Without a house, without a job and without a home to come back to, Ulises vague at night in search for love and a destination for his life but he is trapped in the rough and tumble of the winding Argentine gay night. Before leaving the apartment in which they lived together for a time, Ulises steals money and a gun. Pablo, enraged, begins a hunt around the city to find Ulises and become trapped in the micro gay world of the City of Buenos Aires. The two lead characters in this story search each other in the labyrinth of passions of the night while they revisited their relationship ended. Pablo, newly entered in the homosexual life, sees as his world of security and strength is breaking down in front of his eyes while falling back to the networks of the night and marginality. Jan Manning is having serious financial problems. She runs a dress shop but sales are down and she doesn't have her late husband's knack at purchasing, the end result being that she has too much inventory. One of her suppliers, Mel Reeves, has a solution: he needs only to hire someone to break in to the shop through the skylight and set it on fire allowing Jan to collect on her insurance policy. But when the shop burns down, Jan tells the insurance investigator what happened, only to be told that no one broke into the shop but that she is nonetheless responsible for setting the fire herself.

Forced from his home, he wanders through the countryside and meets unusual folks along the way. The film, adventurous and revolutionary, is a exceptional mix of images that challenge the limits of narrative storytelling. Made two years before the director´s death, the film is also a personal and desparate last attempt to confront the separation of his beloved home country.
